LED Electrical Troubleshooting

I just replaced all the bulbs in the rear (brake/turn, reverse, park, license plate) and now have a full LED setup.

Unfortunately something is up with the passenger side LED brake/turn bulb.

Watch the video. After sitting idol for a few minutes when you lock/unlock the Jeep the passenger side bulbs flashes for a split second before the actual sequence starts.

I checked all the connections and everything is spot on.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Here are the reverse lights. The video doesn't give the intesity much justice. The light is very white with a touch of blue (just a touch). It looks like your typical LED Flashlight (best way to describe it). Much brighter and better than the OEM bulbs.

Re: LED Electrical Troubleshooting

i think its fine. its just that the leds are SO responsive and need so little juice to light up something is sending a signal.....like to check the bulb and that little bit is making the led light upfor a split second.

Re: LED Electrical Troubleshooting

I wasn't sure if perhaps the resistor or the LED itself was malfunctioning. Whats even stranger is that the other day when I closed the rear flipper glass the impact against the body caused the light to "flicker" just as you saw in the video. I'm wondering if there is residual power in the lines (that sounds odd) or resistor.

Thanks for the feedback.
