LED Fog lights Help

I'm interested in changing my fog lights to LED. I found a pair on amazon for cheap. It has great reviews and I may pull the trigger on it. What do you guys think about these fog lights.

Also I have a 12 Laredo x without drl. It has the halo ring around the housing. I was wondering where could I tap to make them work.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Re: LED Fog lights Help

They will probably work.
They won't put out the same light as a pair of JW Speaker LED fog lights, but then again ANYTHING is better than the OEM crap.

There's another thread where someone bought some of those and they have been working fine for a few months.

As for the DRL ring...
I'm currently considering mounting some DRL LEDs on my 2012 and I'm thinking the best bet is to slave off the 12v power port in the forward console (under the radio) as that is switched with ignition power.

It means running a wire from inside the cabin into the engine compartment, but there appears to be an exit point over by the passenger side fender for the battery cables.

Just to be safe, I'm going to look for a wire with some good 'armor' on it AND I'm going to put another fuse in the wire once I'm in the engine compartment.

I looked at the possibility of slaving off a circuit in the fuse box in the engine compartment, but it's sealed with a gasket, so running a wire out would compromise the seal.

Thanks for the info Todd. I'm gonna order them tomorrow and will let you know how it goes.

I highly recommend the Morimoto LED Fog assemblies. Although they are definitely more than $49.99. I think they are worth it.

I installed them on my WK1. They'll install easier on a WK2 by bolting right up.

Re: LED Fog lights Help

I learned the hard way not to buy "cheap" LED lamps. The "second time", I bought from Jeep Garage sponsor XenonDepot and couldn't be happier. Access to the fogs is a bit of a pain, but the end result was stellar.

Yeah I love there products. I have a set of volt hids in my head lights. But I'm looking to go full led.
