Sorry to have been misleading....I really can't confirm anything. But, when i pulled off light cover under dash (I didnt pull cover off tailgate door), I can't see how that bulb that XDepot said was the right one, would work? It has two sides like fuse, as mentioned before? IDK But I am sure we'll figure it out!

Im going to pull the panel tomorrow. I thought you did.. Xenon never said the footwells were the same as the tailgate interior. A member on the forum did. According to the manual, they are different.. I have seen what the footwells look like, which yes are a 194 360 bulb LED. I will try to pull the cargo tomorrow before I order then, when I look at them when they are on, it looks like the light goes from left to right, not down towards the ground, making me think 214-2 "fuse" style bulb is the correct bulb. I can't believe they would actually misprint the manual, considering were up to edition 4 now. Will look into it tomorrow since no one has seemed to change these. Whateverworks is the only one who probably has seen them as he did the reverse lights but he hasn't been on in a few weeks.

Re: LED interior Cargo part number?

I took the back apart today, and you definitely don't need to inorder to change interior cargo lights, the len pops off.. Anyways the bulb states its a 12v8wkx. So 12v blah blah.. It looks as though the T would fit in there, and it would be pointless to put a 360 round as you want the light shining down. So the manual is obviously incorrect, as it is not a fuse style light in there.. Else they are referencing some other rear cargo light..

Sorry azzolji if I ever casted any doubt, I guess I just had to see for myself, manuals are usually never wrong.. Good heads up though and thank you for your help.

Re: LED interior Cargo part number?

You're welcome.

I have to admit that I didn't actually replace those myself, but I had my dealer do
it while they were replacing 3 of the plastic clips I broke while doing the backup lights.
I still don't see how that cover snaps off, but congratulations to you for figuring it
out!

I ordered the T-Stick 194 LED for my license plate, so I will pop off cover on liftgate to see if they fit before I install. It makes sense for the 360 round in the footwells I guess, although overkill comes to mind. LOL I'll give an update as soon as i get them.
Cheers

Re: LED interior Cargo part number?

While on the topic of LED's. Has anyone considered upgrading the LED's in the instrument panel? Since they are on all the time, it would be cool to increase the brightness during the day and have the electroluminescent look.

Re: LED interior Cargo part number?

Has anyone figured out how to get the lens back on the cargo area lights once you pop it off? The light fixture itself is loose in the door -- the lens is what holds it to the trim panel. Now that it's loose, I can't figure out how to snap the lens back on. Grrr... I'm going to be pissed if I have to take the entire cargo door panel off just to get the lenses back on.

I pulled the whole light fixture through the hole then put on the lens and carefully pushed it back through the hole. Hard to explain but I was able to get it back on without taking off the back panel.

Re: LED interior Cargo part number?

People are changing the interior/exterior traditional bulbs generally speaking. Such as DRL, Reverse/Tail, interior cargo (tailgate) etc. etc.
