I believe he is either updating the site or doing maintenance.

The WK V-leds group buy posted website problems earlier.

I ordered my LED on Friday got them Tuesday so super fast shipping

Im going to PM Bill from v-leds to see what he recommends for the reverse lights.

Yeah, it's just routine maintenance.

Just get your part number, know how the socket is positioned in the lamp housing and try to purchase an LED that will take advantage of the orientation of the socket.

For example how I told him he should've used a flank LED for the license plate instead so all the lighting was focused in one direction and not lost with the 360 degree units.

I went with the Can proofs remember i'm sure they are not canned but i went on the safe side. i'm going to be ordering the 7440 8w reverse light here soon, the 7440 is ones mounted to the tail lights the 921 is for the liftgate reverse lights.

the site says the have a 15minute timer because they're so powerful lol

I'd post a link but his site is still down

Huge improvement. over stock I might be converting the Reverse Lights to the 8w Leds once I can figure out if the reverse lights are CANBUS monitored or not.

Since the reverse ones are like $40-$50 a pair I don't need $100 in lights I can't use.

The manual says reverse lights are 921 or 7044 Basically you need to pull your old bulb and read what it says on it lol.
Check out this thread http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...ighlight=putco

but yes your correct reverse is 921 and 7440 for main reverse and tailgate reverse. I have putco bulbs and they don't claim they are canbus proof, never heard of that, but regardless no errors.

The only time you willl get a fast blink is if you change the main tail lamps and don't add resistors. The vehicle notices the resistance is lower and believes the bulb is out.

People have experimented with flank LED license, it concentrations so much in one direction it tends to be over bearing for the application with putco bulbs at least.

Maybe so. How many lumen does the one you give off?

The one from V-LED I used had like 80 lumen. It was so bright it made a line of light behind the car. After a while 1 side went out and the other side begin to pulsate a bit.
