Lloyd rubbertite

Looking at a variety of all weather mats and cargo protectors for new JGC. Had husky mats before in an explorer and liked the raised lips to keep melting snow from overflowing. The rubbertite mats are a better price and seem more pliable. Also the brown will probably look better with indigo blue carpet. Anyone have any thoughts on these or the others (mopar, weather tec , etc)

Re: Lloyd rubbertite

Read the above links.
I have black Husky X-Act Contours after having MOPAR in my prior WK2. I have only cleaned the driver's side once this winter. The salt is so thick (I drive it daily.) that it flakes off in sheets when I remove the liner. I just removed it and the carpet is spotless and no sand or gravel. The lip over the sill and the covered hook holes, I feel, are the reasons it does it's job perfectly.
Is it too weird to say, "I love my winter mats"?

All depends on how much you love them....

Not sure I would need another cargo liner

I prefer the Weather Tech floor liners, guarantied for life, made in the USA, fit perfect and work really well, not the cheapest to be sure, but a very nice product, only down side your limited to one of only 3 colors, Blk Gry or Tan

Re: Lloyd rubbertite

Weathertechs are nice.
I got some stupid lloyds...true berber I think they were called. Payed more than 400$ with Jeep logo embroidery and shit and after 1 month the drivers mat looked like it was used for 10 y by a person wearing ice climbing boots. The area where the right heel sits was completely worned out and looking like shit.
I'll prob get some weathertech for the front seats soon

Re: Lloyd rubbertite

Looks like the mopar ones come in dark brown.

The dealer said they only come in black.

These may work.

My SIL has had one in her 4Runner for 15 years and swears by it. We'll order one for our GC if I can get another company to take back the Ultimate Pet Liner I bought

Re: Lloyd rubbertite

I like my new Quadratecs. Look very classy IMO and the small, glossy green Quadratec logo is a nice touch.
