Just another reason I've got to do this. Looks great, congrats.

It's highly unlikely your springs will go any lower then what they're now. It's generally a rare case they settle more then a fraction of an inch after you have driven around on them.

Re: Lowered wk2

Looks great. Any negative side effects from the drop? Found the kit on eBay cheap, its claims a 1/2 drop on a.V6 which would be ideal for me. I dropped my SRT8 and wasnt a fan of how the ride suffered afterwards.

How's the ride? How does it handle? I also want to do this but I want the 22" srt wheels in polished alum.

Re: Lowered wk2

It rides great havnt really felt any loss of comfort. Handles better. But I havnt really got to get out and play with it.

Re: Lowered wk2

I like the rims on your car. I personally think that they make the car stand out, especially in black gloss. I am thinking about ordering 22's in gloss black for my 2012 5.7 Overland. I like how the 22's fill up the wheel well a lot more. And with the air suspension, it will look sharp when lowered.

Re: Lowered wk2

Think it would look better with stock tire size to fill out the wheel wells better...just my opinion...take it or leave it.. or 22"s with lower profile tires to fill it out...too much wheel well gap IMHO...but I am used to my tuner days of having my imports lowered with NO GAP at all....

thats actually a bigger tire then comes stock on the overland 20" wheels. mine are from the factory and there 265/50/20. although from the pics they dont look like 275/50 idk pics dont always do things justice though.

ive been thinking about getting the lowering springs but just been waiting for a few people to post more pics and info on it. so thanks for posting.
