Made a Roof Light Bar

What do you guys think? I custom made the roof bar using square and angle stock, welded the stock and made j hooks to hook into the rails. Then mounted 4 10Watt LED lights with the wiring ran into the tubing.

I added a quick disconnect wiring harness so it can be removed whenever. The wire is ran through a grommet / hold hidden under the plastic on the front of the roof rail and sealed with tons of RTV silicone.

The switch is hidden in the change holder in the center console where the 4WD controls should be on higher end models.

The Lows, fogs and highs are all HID with separate relay harnesses for the left and right low-beams to retain the off/on when using the turn signals in DRL mode.

I didn't really see anything for the WK2 pre-made other than whole roof rack / baskets. That and I like making things, haha.

Re: Made a Roof Light Bar

Looks great, and I bet it still fits in your garage easily.

Yeah, it didn't add much height at all. I figure it should go in parking garages no problem too.

Thanks!
