Wanted to start a thread hoping it will be posted to the Paint Wars page since I can't create threads there. I feel like no one other than me has a Maximum Steel WK2 on this site. Let's see your WK2!

My new Jeep is a Maximum Steel as well. I've had two black cars prior to this one, and I was pretty sure I would pick up a black Jeep before I saw this color on a WK2 on a lot.

I like the hint of blue in the sun, but over all, it's a very dark color. Since WK2 is very popular, I wanted a color that I don't see often as well.

We wanted Maximum Steel, but bought a bright silver instead. My dealer didn't have one in stock. They located one for us at another dealer, they wanted another 1k to bring it in. We decided it wasn't worth another 1k for the color, so we bought the bright silver. Maximum Steel is a very nice color.

Here is my 2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo in Maximum Steel Metallic with the Mopar chrome package and 20in wheel and Nav group. I was originally going to get black but waited out on buying one just to see what this color looked like. The Jeep website does not do this color justice. This is definitely a unique color. It doesn't show dirt/rain spots like I thought it would either. I hope Jeep doesn't it offer it too long, don't want to see a million of them in this color.

^^^looks great! Are those the chrome or polished wheels?
Thanks, Yes there are the polished aluminum wheels. Jeep could have been cleaner, but it was out enjoying life :)

so they aren't chrome plated just the polished version? Are they OEM or did they come from a different source? Thanks
They are OEM and were option on the window sticker as polished aluminum. It was a Demo so it just came that way.
