Memory Seat in Laredo

Hello All,

From Australia and have a 2014 Laredo 4x4, it is fitted with electronic seats and mirrors but i want to know if you can add the memory system to it, is it as simple as buying and installing the parts from jeep or do i need to replace the whole seats etc.

Would love a run down from anyone who has done this. Thanks

Re: Memory Seat in Laredo

I can’t see this being possible as it is tied in with Uconnect and as far as your system is concerned, there is no memory seat option. So even if you could buy and fit all the extra hardware, you still would have a system that says none of it exists. It also includes mirrors, steering column and other Uconnect settings.
Hopefully someone has a definitive answer though I can’t see it being possible.

If it was possible, it will be very expensive to do.

Re: Memory Seat in Laredo

I was looking into this before with the 2011-2013 models.

From the info I had received.

you would have to replace the mirrors since models with memory seats had some type of position tracking not present in the laredo base mirrors.

besides that you would have find the missing wiring harnesses to tie all of that together.

There is a memory module that mounts on seat base of the Driver's seat on LHD models.

Then there is the memory buttons and wiring harness.

In addition you have to have the coding changes to activate the feature.

I had wanted the add the option to gain the mirror tilting in reverse feature but I have just learned to tilt it myself.

I am hoping that someone is successful in this mod but for now noone is optimitic
