Mirror Signal Lights - Always on possible?

Has anyone tried to get the mirror signal lights to stay on all the time (at night)? I've see a lot of cars where the light is always on, and then flashes when directed to, its got a cool look..

Thoughts?

Re: Mirror Signal Lights - Always on possible?

No, Benzes and Toyotas don't have lights that stay on. The lights you're seeing on the Ford trucks are running lights, not turn signal indicators.

It should be possible to do, but its going to involve a fair bit of wiring...

Re: Mirror Signal Lights - Always on possible?

Yea youd have to find out which wire is the power for the turn signal, cut it and then wire it to a parking light signal.

Re: Mirror Signal Lights - Always on possible?

You would also have to put a diode in to stop power flowing back to all the other indicators
