Mitigating driver seat leather wrinkling/cracking

I have a '14 with blue/brown interior and 12k miles. My driver seat is already showing signs of age with the wrinkle lines. My wife and I both try to be careful when getting and not intentionally slide across the bolster. Is there a recommended treatment to try to stave off this problem? Should I be oiling the leather or massaging it with beer like they do those cows in Japan?
I never had this problem in either of my old BMW's even after 12 years and they had the same so-called Nappa leather. I would like to do what I can to keep my 'new' car from looking worn out.

Thanks in advance.

I have the exact same issue and mines only 6 months old. Lots of oiling/leather treatment is all I can think of.

- Using entry/exit height if it's got Quadralift.
- Fitting side steps.
- Using good conditioning product might assist.

Cheers,
Steve
