Put a black grill on that, and we have a Blackpepper Version 2.0

Re: Mod Squad

Dear Santa,

Could you please encourage the aftermarket CAI guys to get off their arses and bring a WK2 system to market pre-Christmas?

You know, Mopar, Bwoody, K&N, Air Raid, others. Plenty of Elves out there to make something happen.

Pretty please? We've all been really good. And patient.

Moose

p.s.: Hard wired radar and laser system would be a really cool stocking stuffer

Re: Mod Squad

I'll just have to keep modding my WJ. All you WK2 guys have fun though, and i'll just keep drooling off to the side.

Re: Mod Squad

Moose, doodads schmoodads...I'm going to enjoy modding vicariously by just watching and enjoying what you do.

Outside of tinting the driver and passenger windows and total-dark tinting (limo style) the rears and liftgate glass, there isn't anything I feel needs to be changed in my WK2. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that just feels and, to me, looks perfect out of the box. And, surprise of surprises, I have fallen in love with that $%#* panoramic sunroof after initially despising it...in less than a week too!! That means one mod I really have to do now is cover my bald spot to enjoy it.

(do you know of any headrest monitors that will work? I was told that because of the head restraint system that the WK2 uses that there might not be monitors in the back of the headrests.)

Re: Mod Squad

I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread. I'm trying not to get bit by the mod bug. It becomes an obsession for me once I get started, although seeing some of these wish list got me tempted. Probably just do minor cosmetic mods like LEDs and HID fogs.

Mopar is supposedly releasing a set of new head rests that have the Monitors built in already. They were in an early accessories book then were also seen at the SEMA show that just passed. Just a matter of time before they are released but I dont have a clue when that will be yet.
