I can try posting some pictures of the cables, connections, etc., once I get around taking some more pictures.

Nacho,

Any more pictures of the install?

Re: Mod Squad

As for the item left in the driver's side - Nacho Cheese!

+1 nicely done with the light strips and tie in to the full time ambient lighting from the cupholder. If you only wanted the footwell lighting when the doors are open, you could tie into the dome lights over each footwell.

+ rep to Nacho.

Let me get a hold of the truck again, and I'll post some pics of the install...

Glad it was liked... And for the price ($25) you get the same result as MOPARs pricier option...

Re: Mod Squad

I rec'd two more responses from Glenn at Rocky Road:

"We do have the rock sliders ready. Pics will be online shortly.

The lift kit though is still in its final testing stages. It has been designed and installed. We just need to run it and make sure there are no problems before release. If things go well, we hope to have it available by the end of this month (Feb). Thanks for your interest!
Glenn Wakefield"

I then asked which vehcile they prototyped because I was concerened about the factory load-leveling shocks being long-enough to reatin the suspension geometry:

"The prototype Jeep has the V8 engine. But since we're using the stock components, it really doesn't matter what configuration you have. All of our pieces add onto existing springs, struts, and shocks. The only vehicle it won't work on is the airbag equipped Grand. And frankly... there will probably never be a lift for those. Nice that it has the adjustable suspension, but those Jeep owners will never be able to go to a larger than stock tire because the factory "lift" will always drop back down when the engine is shut off.
Glenn Wakefield"

Getting excited...

Also, for those of you interested in "Angel-Eye" kits, Advanced Automotive Concepts has them available for the 2011 JGC. I had the same Oracle kit on my 2006 Range Rover, looked sharp; not sure if i will do it again though. I'd like to see it actually installed on a WK2 before I decided.

The pic from the website is below, hope this is allowed. If not I apologize and please delete the image.

Maybe I should tell my larger than stock tires they shouldn't be installed.

Re: Mod Squad

the1jake,

I sure do like the looks of your tires and those black wheels. You say there have been no problems with rubbing or anything else with this install? What about the speedo readings and mileage?

Rock rails are awesome too, I'm thinking long and hard about that addition for mine (when it comes that is).
