Modifying Fog Light Bulbs - Loose Fit?

I purchased some Putco Jet Yellow halogen bulbs and cut off the tabs as instructed. However, I can not get the bulbs to seat firmly in the fog housings. They will clip in, but seem loose and tend to bounce around when driving. I have since gone back to the stock halogen bulbs.

Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to remedy the situation? I'd like a snug fit between the bulb and housing...

I had a set of Nokya bulbs that I tried to install and had somewhat of the same issue. But because I didn't like how hot they got I decided to switch to LED ones. I got my LED bulbs off Ebay and noticed the quality of the LED's body was better then the Nokya bulbs. What I had also noticed was another tab where the harness connected I had to trim with a utility knife. Take both the stock bulbs and the new bulbs and look at them together and you will notice. Once all said and done they snapped in perfectly and couldn't be happier. I tried to take pics of what I had done to do a write-up but couldn't get decent pics so I never did it. Here's the ones I bought. http://www.ebay.com/itm/9009-PW13-H...es&vxp=mtr&hash=item3a6dd24c5a#ht_2307wt_1144
