Mods to ventilated seats

I love the ventilated seats in my 2014. However, I find myself wishing for two mods:

1. A higher flow rate. Has anyone increased the airflow through their seat, either by replacing the fan with a unit with a higher static pressure or using some other approach?

2. Always automatically engage the ventilated seat. I run the thing on Hi 100% of the time, even in the winter, and it's just an extraneous "preflight checklist" item. I would settle for the thing simply remembering the mode it was in when the vehicle was turned off, which is how it should have been designed in the first place.

What can I say? I guess I really just want to drive around sitting on an air hockey table.

Re: Mods to ventilated seats

I'm in total agreement. Setting should remain where it was last set. Maybe Magnus at Customtronix.com with the RAX lockpick could help us out....

Re: Mods to ventilated seats

There are a few more settings that should retain the settings. Besides the seat, the radio and the eco mode come to mind. This is the first modern car I have owned where I have to do more than just start it and go.

These are not monumental problems, just little annoyances that shouldn't exist.

I think there is an option that if it's over 80 degrees or something like that they come on, but I don't think there is an all the time on setting that I'm aware of.

You have auto-on comfort enabled in your settings. If it's "hot" outside, it will enable the driver's side seat ventilation on low. If it's "cold" outside it will enable the steering wheel and driver's side seat heaters.

Unfortunately, these parameters are not modifiable and this feature can't be used to achieve the goal.
