Sorry bud... all I have are the parts books... not much time to comb through them

Also... are you sure this isn't a function of the FCM? I know on the LX platform, on U.S. Domestic models, the fog lights to off with the high beams, however, you can use a StarMobile, or StarScan to enable fogs WITH high beams

This may be worth looking into, if you know someone with a Star* device.

There is a detailed parts description in the mopar link, sans switch. I posted a screen shot of the Mopar parts list on page 3 of this thread.

As for the switch - your guess is as good as mine. Totally up in the air. Personally, I think the existing switch will function to turn these on and off, but who knows. There is no discussion of a switch in the Mopar instructions whatsoever.

Ok here is the part number for the Export Mopar integrated headlight/foglight switch. Mopar part #68029275AB>> Superceeds to #68029275AC MSRP $61.10 This switch is OEM for all export Grands with{LPG} rear fog and {LNG} front fog, sales codes. It controls headlights and both front & rear fogs.

This part# is the correct switch number for all export Grands that have independant operating front and rear foglights.... one push for front fogs two for rears.

The part# for all US spec models that have front fogs only is 68029265AB MSRP $58.50>>Which superceeds to 68029276AC. This switch is OEM for all US spec Grands with {LNG} front fog sales code. It controls headlights and front fogs only.

The Export switch it is availabe thru all US Mopar dealers for now, my parts guy said if Chrysler figures out they are offering an export only headlight/foglight switch thru their regular parts catalog they might pull it back and stop selling it to US based customers! He said he has seen this mistake before, so if you want one, order it now before they catch their mistake!
You will have to install the mopar rear foglight kit with this switch, and may need to flash your Jeep with a starscan tool to enable independant front/rear foglight operation.

This proceedure was posted to enable front fogs with hi-beams on US spec models and may also enable independant rear fog operation if you wired your rear fogs like export models with the rear fogs installed OEM, but I haven't determined if thats true or not yet! Stay tuned!
starscan main menu > ECU view > FCM/CGW > misc. functions > enable front fog lamp output > start > next > disable > next > cancel > start > next > enable > next > export > next > finish.

Thanks wk2pgh for pointing me in the right direction!

I'm guessing the OEM way to install wouldn't be the way the kit install PDF shows since it shows that you splice into the front fogs relay wire?

No you would not splice into the front fog relay wire (white/orange) if using the export switch, that would defeat the purpose of using it!
See link below;
http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82212166.pdf; pages 6~8 in this PDF installation guide which comes with the Mopar kit (part#82212166)

Like I said stay tuned..... working on how to wire the Mopar rear fog kit just like the OEM factory export models would be as shipped from the factory. I'm pretty sure I need to find the right cavity to tap into in the same connector referenced in the link on pages 6~8 above, problem is there are no factory service manuals out yet to identify the export rear fog wire/cavity!

Re: Mopar Rear fog LIghts

Gotcha.. If we could figure out the "correct" way to wire these as they do from the factory, I would probably order the switch and do it. I see lights being very useful in heavy snow/rain weather as well.

Don't worry; I will figure out the correct way to wire in this switch with the Mopar rear fog kit. And it will be the same as the export OEM Grands w/rear fogs are shipped. A factory service manual w/wiring diagrams would help alot! I'm almost certain the connector referenced in the PDF linked to above has the right wire/cavity... just need to find which one it is!

Having another set of turn signals/brake lights/tail lights is an entirely different thing. Not really interested in having that if this can be figured out.

Re: Mopar Rear fog LIghts

i get it... didnt catch that... fog lights only vs. combining them to the tail lights... i guess id have no use for the fog lights hardly since im 4x2 but i would think it would be easy to swap the rears to fogs myself... even more so if i could just order the lenses without anything else...

Re: Mopar Rear fog LIghts

I went with the turn-stop-4 way bulbs and wiring. Maybe a set of LED's for Christmas. Several friends have commented positively about the additional lighting.
