If I did a ton of off-roading, I'm sure my opinion would be different, but there is not a lot of off-roading in my area. If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn't. I will leave them on for a few months, and if I still don't like them, I will take them off. I still have the original trim that was taken off, so it should be fairly easy and cheap to undo.
Good luck getting them off. If they finished the job as per the instructions, the original trim will have had the front ends cut off and the pieces used to trim the front of the rock rails.

I made sure that they didn't.

Re: MOPAR Rock Rails Installed - Picture Laden

The Jeep looks great with those Mopar rails! My Laredo X is the same color. I ordered the Mopar rails over a month ago and every week or two the arrival date is pushed later.

Ordered all the skid plates at the same time & they arrived the next day. Installed on my own in maybe 2 hours in the driveway. Pretty easy job, and I was taking my time. For the gas tank skids I had less than 1/8 tank, so they'd be lighter. No issues with them being too heavy to let hang or move around. Used floor jack and my knees to hold everything in place while starting the bolts.

Thanks! Hopefully you get your rails soon. I am installing the skid plates some time before June (dealer wanted $400 for the install), so thanks for the tips.

Re: MOPAR Rock Rails Installed - Picture Laden

Does anyone know if the "Trailhawk" rails (82213525) will fit a '14? The Mopar site only lists 11-13 for part number 82213525. However, it states that part number 82212157, with the additional rub rails, will fit all years. I'd be surprised if there were changes to either the body or rail design, but would rather be safe than sorry.

Re: MOPAR Rock Rails Installed - Picture Laden

I'm almost positive they will. I'm pretty sure they are the same as the regular MOPAR rock rails, except without that extra step.

No problem! Welcome to the forum, by the way.

I am not completely sure, so hopefully someone else can chime in. However, the original 2014 JGC Accessories catalog listed the Trailhawk rails as fitting the 2014, and there isn't anything that has changed in 2014 that would affect installation of the rock rails (to my knowledge). I will look further into it and report back in a day or so.

Awesome! It's a great combo, and I'm sure the diesel is great as well. Assuming the rails do fit (I'm 95% sure they do) and you install them, make sure to post some pictures here. I'm thinking that I maybe should have gone with the Trailhawk rails instead of the regular Mopar ones.

Try justforjeeps.com and use coupon code jeepgarage5. I got mine from them and they came in perfect condition in 2 days. I've also used them for other stuff and they have been great.

Probably, I'm not sure how it works. I ordered mine when they were in stock.
