Mud Flaps on 2014

I was debating whether or not to get the Mopar mud flaps for my MY2014 that's not going to be delivered in about a month. I've read a lot of the threads regarding the mud flaps on the MY11-13, and they seem like they do their job to protect the area behind the wheel wells. Has anyone with the 2014 put on mud flaps or are planning on it? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated so I can have an idea of what they would look like. Also, if anyone knows how to work photoshop those pics would work as well. My jeep is going to be billet silver and the overland package, so it's going to have body color trim. Any opinions or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

The dealership is installing deluxe "splash guards" and Cleargard on my 2014 GC Black Limited 4x4...I'll post pics when I take delivery next week sometime.

Thanks GCLimited! That would be nice to see them on one of the MY14's. Is anyone planning on putting them on their Overland? I know it will look a little different since the trim is body color.

I'm considering to put them on mine too. I have an Overland and I would like to see some pictures because as you said the trim is body color ...

Re: Mud Flaps on 2014

I believe the factory molded splash guards (the same as the ones on the 2011-14) can be painted body-color if you wish. Have no idea how that would look, however.

I would look into an XPEL installer over Clearguard - XPEL is far superior to the Clearguard product + it is self healing - you may also come out of it cheaper than what the dealer will charge if you can find a installer locally. I just had the XPEL front / side fenders and hood done for $650.00

Thanks for the tip, but I have no idea what brand of "Clearbra" as I call it they installed on my Jeep...only that I have to bring it back this Saturday to have them do it over again. Looks like a "Newb" put it on. Looks like I got a good deal paying only $500 for the front/lower hood/fender sides.

I'll ask what brand it is when I go back in.

Thanks.

Thanks for the pics GCLimited. Those look good, and nice Jeep They blend in nicely with the darker colored paint. I have a silver overland coming in, so hopefully they look okay with the lighter paint and body color trim. I ordered a set of the mud flaps and I'm planning on putting them on once my jeep gets her. I'll post some pics once I get them put on. Anyone with lighter colored MY14 planning on getting mud flaps?

Re: Mud Flaps on 2014

I found out the hard way these don't fit the 2014 Summit. If I would have read the fine print on the Mopar web site I would have figured this out. Now i need to return them. Doesn't look like I have any other choices at this point.

Re: Mud Flaps on 2014

I added these to my 2014 Limited today. Does anyone have experience taking them off road? I wonder if they catch on something, will they break off or will what they're mounted to break off?

Re: Mud Flaps on 2014

On our 2011 we take only the front ones off before going off road (mainly beach work). The one time we didnt they didnt snap or anything however one of the plastic clips holding them in came out, but the actual bolt stayed in.
