If i were you I would plasti dip the badges on the hood, i did it on mine and it really looks great. Also it'll only cost you around 10 bucks, 6 for the can of plasti dip and 4 bucks for some painters tape.

Does anyone know if it's possible or how to take off the plast slats in between the chrome grill cover? I would like I make mine mesh but don't know how to go about doing it. Heres the mesh I'm trying to use: http://www.metrorestyling.com/mobile/default.aspx#P92

that links junk but they should just pop out the back... there are several different styles on ebay and they came with a couple different ones as well..
