Looks beautiful. Did you get the mirror caps painted too or did you purchase them? Also, what fog bulbs are you running?

Thanks

Thanks man.

No I was able to find the mirrors with color matching caps and I just swapped them out.

These are the fog bulbs I'm running.

Nice, thanks for the information. Where were you able to find the mirror covers?

Again, looks gorgeous!

Ebay. I found one used one for like $30 because the housing was cracked but I only needed the cap. The other I bought from a dealership in NJ. Was 180 for a brand new mirror with the color cap. I asked them if they could lower the price because I only needed the cap and also they only had that one left, so they wanted to get rid of it. Got it for $150

Another thing you could do is buy the cheaper ones from ebay that are gloss black and use them black or you could always later down the road have them painted to match

The thing about the caps, is it will be hard to find JUST the caps in your color because they are not sold like that by dealers. Unless by some luck you found somebody that was just selling the caps in your color. That would be some wait I would assume.

Re: My mods

I'm feeling that Gloss Black Metallic wrap. Looking good!

What did you use to remove and replace the plastic rivets for the wheel well flares?

Thanks.

To remove the rivets i used a thin knife and cut them off.

I replaced them with new ones. On the rear tho, i only put the top ones because the tool to put the new ones in doesn't fit because of the tire. I only put the top ones on the front too, in case i need to remove the bumper again.

I bought a kit that has the tool to install them and comes with several size rivets.

If i ever have to take them off for whatever reason, i'm going to see if i can just use those push pin type. If i have to take them off again for some odd reason i'll be afraid of taking a knife to it now that they are painted lol

Re: My mods

Yeah, wouldn't want to damage the paint on the flares or the flare itself.
Thanks for the info.
