Got these last week. Just waiting on the harness that connects to the stock one.

Hope they look good

Re: My mods

Any chance of separating the ring from the panel to wrap it? I had my panel off once but didn't look closely at removing the ring.

i ordered some more yesterday and i'm also thinking about wrapping the black that surrounds the radio and other controls in the center.

The only way to separate the chrome trim (cup holder & shifter) is to cut it off. You would the have to glue it back on.

The shifter would be too much trouble tho. I ended up taking off the wrap on it after i did it. Its now chrome.

The cup holder trim would be the easiest to cut off but its not necessary to if you want to wrap it. This one is easy to wrap. Just unbolt the actual cup holders from the panel and its very doable.

Re: My mods

Thank you albert/t.
Two other questions: I'm confused on the wrap material type. I want to do it in chrome, do you have a recommendation on the material? Did you peel of the old chrome on the ring or is the wrap material thick enough to fill the height differences? It seems the chrome that has not peeled off is somewhat hard to remove.

If you want to wrap it in chrome you can. There is chrome vinyl. I don't know how good will look compared to actual chrome plating. The vinyl will not make up for an differences in height. The film is thin.

On mine. I peeled off some of the chrome. I did not peel it all off completely because some of it was still stuck on and did want to force it. The good thing about mine is that I wrapped it in black vinyl and you can't really tell where the edges are from the chrome that didn't peel off. I would think that lighter colors would stand out more, depending on what peeled off and didnt.

check out vinylgiant.com thats where I have been buying my vinyl.

Re: My mods

Thank you maybe I will go with black and try to do the shifter. The black on yours looks very nice.

The shifter is a little troublesome but doable. Just takes more time and patience

Thanks man. I went with these fogs because they are plug and play, should be brighter than my stock and I dont really care if they are not super bright. When it comes to HID kits and wiring, it's something i'm not sure if i want to dab into lol...luckily my headlights are stock HID's haha.

The link was for the fog kit i ordered from ebay, but they didn't come with the harness adapter to connect to my stock harness. I emailed them and they tried to tell me that it actually doenst come with the adapters which is BS. They tried to sell me some for $15 but i just didnt bother, i ordered the harness from somebody else for less. They just came in yesterday too.

Thanks for the compliment. I like the stripes. It just looked too plain.
