Re: My Wk2 so far

Damn you are beating me Collusus! Everything is looking good! I just put in the back up camera and the 430n it makes a hell of a difference! Honestly the best route to go is doing the upgrades yourself if you shop around you def can get the things you want and still stay under what it would have cost you from the factory at least in our cases keep it up man looking great! Btw did you add the heated seats and then put them to the new control panel?

lol

I didn't do heated seats. I wanted to try it out without them since it would have cost me the same to do them during the leather install or after.

After having the leather during the winter I found myself not needing the heated seats. Bewtween the remote start and auto climate controls the seats were never cold by the time I got to the Jeep.

I hear you about finding the parts and doing the work yourself. On the Grille I am having the dealer install it. Got it for 10% off plus free install. Which comes out to almost what I would have paid if I got it myself and did the install.

Re: My Wk2 so far

yea def if you buy the parts from the dealer they definetly take care of you a little more... but i bought my parts from either steve white or just for jeeps..... my local dealer is getting the hint that i dont pay retail or msrp so they are working with me a little more haha. i did have a little situation where a pallet fell onto my truck at my buisness, but luckily only minor damage to the bumper so hopfully getting that fixed when i come back from vaca and the gf has put me on a freeze till then so ill make her happy and then i can get her off my back to finish up my project lol

Yeah I wonder why lol Actually you were the inspiration for what I am doing, I saw how yours came out and liked it a lot.

Thanks everyone else also. Dropping her off today to have the Summit grille installed. Will post pics tomorrow.

Bostondan...I'm telling you man, buy her a car like I did for the wife. You will be able to mod to your heart's(bank's?) content LOL
