Collosus76 I am having trouble deciding between the standard overland hyper silver wheels and the summit wheels. I'm sure you are partial to the summit wheels but any tips, suggestions or why you chose the summit wheels? Thanks! Good looking jeep btw. Always been a fan of red jeeps!

Re: My Wk2 so far

Summit grille is sharp!!!!!!! I just put the regular overland grille on mine. I thought it would be too much bling for max steel... Nice on the cherry red!

Yeah the Deep cherry just keeps begging for more and more shiny chrome.

Collosus if you want to add chrome to the lower grille www.justforjeeps.com now offers this euro accessory lower grille mesh

Here Mesh Grill Insert - Jeep Grand Cherokee - Item # 82212293

Thanks!

I just like the polished look better.
Plus I don't have to worry about the "paint" on them. They also makw the red Jeep "pop" out more.

I was looking at after market rims before I ordered these. I basically kept looking at rims that had the style of the summit wheels. I didn't want chrome since they were too flashy. Went with the summit ones instead.

Thanks for the heads up. I like that piece. Not sure if I will do that or the Chrome moulding on the bottom of the front valance.

I agree the Deep Cherry Red just likes its Bling LOL

Scoot...
I think the overland grille goes better on the darker colors like yours. Too much contrast with the chrome. I think your Jeep looks bad ass as well.

Yours and Jeep Addicted are the ones I looked at for ideas. Thanks to you guys for starting the Laredo to Overledo mod LOL

Overledo is a registered trademark of Collosus76 and may be used with no permission once so ever...HAHA

"Overledo" man that is original. And funny too I had me a good chuckle from this.

Re: My Wk2 so far

hahahaha Overledo..... Jeep should hire you for model names hahahaha... Collosus Jeep_addicted is awesome, he's helped through quite a bit! I want to do the ATC upgrade inside but for some reason I am holding back. I know its an install but, something is saying don't do it....

Re: My Wk2 so far

Collosus I really like what you did to the jeep man, it looks great. Question for you, on the nav you installed, did you just buy the unit and it plugged and played? Or did you have to buy new wire harness to go with it? What year is your jeep? I have a 2011 jeep grand cherokee laredo and I'm looking at installing the same unit.

Scooter, It is so simple to do the auto climate control that if something happened you can go right back. It worked awesome here in Chicago during the winter.

ncooper,
My 430N was completely plug and play. I have a 2013 Laredo that had uconnect and sirius already installed. The radio did come from a 2011 since it had no "anti theft" code.

A bit of sad news though. I curbed one of my wheels. Bad case of curb rash. Gonna get a couple of wheel repair guys to look at it and see if worth fixing. If not I guess I will have to buy a new rim.

So pissed at myself. Worst part is that I was being careful and still hit the curb. Something told me to keep the GC at home today but didn't listen...
KHAAAAAANNN!

Re: My Wk2 so far

That's horrible. I'm sorry to hear about the rim. I did the same thing on my rim. I have black srt replica and it took about a 10 piece of metal off. Luckily It was not to deep and I just used touch up paint on it. You can't tell it ever happened.

Where did you buy the 430n at? I'm looking all over but I can't find any under 900.00.
