Gracias all. Here is a shot of the damage on the wheel.

ForumRunner_20130401_142354.png

Dropped it off to a Rim repair place. should be a couple of days. Havung him strip the rim and repolis and clear coat all of it. As oppose to just the spot of the damage. A bit more money but worth it.

Well got the wheel back. I must say the guy did an excellent job.

Where did you buy the 430n at? I'm looking all over but I can't find any under 900.00.
I got my 430N on ebay. I got lucky for the price I paid. Plus I have free sirius and travel link as of now. Not sure how much longer but gonna keep enjoying til it goes off lol

Wow, Collosus, you obviously found the right person to take care of your damaged wheel. Outstanding job. Glad it worked out so well.

Re: My Wk2 so far

It looks amazing, they did an incredible job fixing it. If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to repair it? I would like to get mine done.

Thanks. It would have been abour 80 to 90 bucks to just fix the spot. With a possible mis match. I had him do the whole wheel so was a bit more. came out to around 150 bucks.

Not cheap but definitely cheaper than buying a new rim and swappung out tires and sensors plus balancing etc.

It hurt seeing the spare on the jeep the last two days. I drove my rusted 91 4runner instead of the jeep the last two days lol

I can tell which spoke it was By looking at the way "Jeep" is oriented in both pictures.

That's not to bad at all. And lol yea I don't blame you not driving the jeep with a spare on it. I would do the same thing.

Haha I see what you mean. The only problem is the center cap was taken off. So not sure if it's in the original position.

Re: My Wk2 so far

That should be a pretty easy fix if its not right? Just pop it off and turn it a lil bit I would think.

Yeah. I was just saying that the cap is no longer oriented to were it was before. showing where the bad spoke was.

Oh ok. Gotcha. What type of mods have you done to the jeep so far? How long have you had it?
