Need help finding 12v "headlight on" from inside..

Hello,
Long story short, I need pos 12v when the headlights (interior dash lights) come on. Worst case scenario I can get the 12v off the parking lights, but I was hoping there was something inside the cabin I can get it from so I dont have to run wires from the engine bay. Any help is appreciated.

-Andre

I'm skeptical that you'll be able to find what you want inside because almost everything is computer controlled. You will likely need to sense the voltage at the headlight. Unlike older vehicles, most vehicle functions are "on the buss".

Yea, I was thinking that as there is only 4 wires going to the headlight control panel. figured I would ask as I was hoping there was something I am missing. I guess I will just grab 12v from one of the front parking lights.
Thanks!

What year? The wiring changed significantly at least once in the WK2 run..

edit: as far as I can tell there is no such wire in the cabin on a 14+ .. as Jim noted, it's all "on the bus" ..

I have a 2013. even if it was a 12v for the dash lights to come on... that would work too.. just not sure where to get it from... or what wire.
