Need opinions on interior

So my Jeep has the New Saddle/Black interior. For some odd reason Jeep decided to make the A pillars and the headliner a white/gray color (weird decision if you ask me). I have thought about replacing all of it with black but i can see that being expensive and time consuming. If i were to replace just the A pillar cover with a black one do you think that would look good? Or would it just end up making the headliner look more out of place?

Re: Need opinions on interior

i did exact same in a wagon I had.

Had Black door panels. seats dash. then a light headliner.

I changed just the A pillars and it looked so much better.
like you had plans for the others but never got to them and sold it as it was without a question.

im not up on all wk2 but is there a different trim level that has black A pillars..

if so you might find a salvage or ebay set. get oem part numbers

if you can afford it, get the pillars and roof done, preferably in suede/alcantara. it won't be cheap, but it will really complete that interior

Yea I think the black pillars will look so much better. Even with the grey roof.

Re: Need opinions on interior

All my opinion ofcourse, but I feel replacing only the pillars would look a little out of place. I say either do it all or leave it as is. The lighter headliner actually goes pretty good with the saddle I thought. I think the black headliner really only suits all black interiors the best.
If you wanted to get really fancy you could buy the 2014+ Summit black suede pillars and headliner. That would be nice! When I had my 2014 Summit I loved the suede roof. infact I wouldnt even mind converting my High Altitude black headliner to the black suede.

Tell ya what, I'll sell you my black headliner and pillars and I'll buy the suede stuff for mine! Damn that would be sweet haha. Where you located? Lol
BTW nice looking Jeep I really like that unique color combination.

Annndddd never mind, I just saw how much headliners cost new lol. I think I'll leave mine alone

A brief search on allmopsrparts.com and I think it showed $1500 for the dual pane headliner. Even the non-suede was expensive as well.
The problem is if you wanted to fully convert you would need a lot of parts. All the plastic side panels, overhead console, visors, grab handles, and possibly rear liftgate trim panels as well can't remember if the upper ones were gray for you as well.

Back to converting just the pillars, here is why I think it's not a good idea. So it would be going from a saddle colored dash, to a black pillar cover, then to a gray headliner. I think it would look really out of place. So again, if it were mine it's either all or nothing.

After thinking it over, I'm wondering if the best option is to have the parts covered in the material of your choice. It would cost a small fortune to buy all new black parts. I bet they have some really high quality materials that can relatively easily be applied to existing parts. Human, now this has me thinking lol

WOW. I just don't hate it enough to spend that kind of money to change it.
