So my Jeep has the New Saddle/Black interior. For some odd reason Jeep decided to make the A pillars and the headliner a white/gray color (weird decision if you ask me). I have thought about replacing all of it with black but i can see that being expensive and time consuming. If i were to replace just the A pillar cover with a black one do you think that would look good? Or would it just end up making the headliner look more out of place?
Had Black door panels. seats dash. then a light headliner.
I changed just the A pillars and it looked so much better.
like you had plans for the others but never got to them and sold it as it was without a question.
im not up on all wk2 but is there a different trim level that has black A pillars..
if so you might find a salvage or ebay set. get oem part numbers
All my opinion ofcourse, but I feel replacing only the pillars would look a little out of place. I say either do it all or leave it as is. The lighter headliner actually goes pretty good with the saddle I thought. I think the black headliner really only suits all black interiors the best.
If you wanted to get really fancy you could buy the 2014+ Summit black suede pillars and headliner. That would be nice! When I had my 2014 Summit I loved the suede roof. infact I wouldnt even mind converting my High Altitude black headliner to the black suede.
Tell ya what, I'll sell you my black headliner and pillars and I'll buy the suede stuff for mine! Damn that would be sweet haha. Where you located? Lol
BTW nice looking Jeep I really like that unique color combination.
Annndddd never mind, I just saw how much headliners cost new lol. I think I'll leave mine alone
Good point! The black would look some much better, matches the back pillars.
It's weird jeep even thought that was a good idea. For $34 100% change it black!
Headliner....wasted of money.
I have the light suede headliner on my white summit with saddle/black interior. IMO it's perfect and I wouldn't have it any other way. I really prefer the light against the saddle rather than if it were black. Don't do just the pillars, I agree that it would definitely look out of place.
