It is pretty hard to change the bulbs out without taking bumper and headlights off. It can be done it's just harder cause no room. There is a video on here about doing it. I've done it both ways cause I did them when I installed my hid fogs.

Hi,

I do not think that the strips are replaceable as they are sealed units.

Re: NEW 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee XenonDepot Automotive Lighting Packages

What do you have as far as 2014+ reverse LED lights for the Grand Cherokee?

I believe they are 4 bulbs (2x w21w and 2x w16w) Do we need canbus for the reverse lights if we swap to LED on the 2014+ grand cherokees?

Hi Steve,

I have a 15 Overland with stock HIDs. Do you know what brand my stock HID bulb is and color tint? So if I order what you suggest above, the philips 5000K bulb, you're telling me I would notice a Hugh improvement over my stock HID bulbs? Someone mentioned in another thread that the stock HID bulbs on the JC are not as bright as some of the other vehicles out there that come with stock HIDs..I've never had HIDs before so for me even just having HIDs is a big improvement from halogens but if I can get even better output from going with what you suggest than I may just do that.

Also, Do you know when the H11 Philips X-treme Ultinon LED Bulbs will be in stock? And would these be a good match with the Philips 5000k D3S HID bulbs?

Looking to place a good size order very soon.

Any good deals going on right now that would save me $$$, promo codes etc..

Thanks,
Mike

Re: NEW 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee XenonDepot Automotive Lighting Packages

Hi Guys:

Skunkd - Go with these:
921 LED bulbs & 7440 LED bulb

Mike:

As per your questions:

(1) I have yet to receive negative feedback about the D3S X-treme Ultinon bulbs. The difference is not going to be insane - but definitely noticeable. You will clearly notice the difference in color as well.

(2) Philips H11 LED - They are in transit - and we hope to have them in stock by the end of next week. We've got quite a few people waiting, but at this point should still have stock left over to fill any new orders. This is definitely the way to go if you want to enhance your fog's light output.

Send me a PM With your number.. I'll give you a call and see how we can get you the best deal possible.

Steve

Any ideas ? i hope its just an adjustment otehrwise i will have to put the stock ones back in

I actually fixed them. I disconnected the negative on my battery and let it sit for a little while and plugged it back in and now they are working great. And these lights are super bright! Wish they were a little whiter but very bright.

However I installed the xenon led bulbs that ibpurchased for the fog lights and they work but they are extremely Dim compared to the stock bulbs. I can't tell if they are on unless I see a reflection of them on a car in front of me or facing a wall. Are the supposed to be significantly more dim, and not visible?
