Re: New chrome light bezzels..MODIFIED! **PICS**

When I stated reading your post, My brain went the opposite way. Did you consider masking it with the tape the opposite way so that you ended up with a thin line of black just around the front edge of the bezels with the entire interior of the bezels remaining chrome? Maybe it's just personal taste, and not that your way looks bad, but I think it would look even better the other way.

I don't know how to post an answer with showing your questions yet, so here it goes.

1-No grill work for now. I'm going to wait and see what comes out aftermarket for an insert for the Overland. I do like the summit grill though..

2-As far as painting the inner part of the bezzels and not the edge, I don't think It would look good because you would be covering up the shinny chrome. The inner part is a textured dull finish. I did consider painting the inner part white but I'm glad I stuck with black.

3-I ordered them from Justforjeeps.com Don't know the part #. I think all chrome bezzels are going to be the summit style.

In recognition of your excellent bezel mod, I'll give you a quick tutorial on quoting in replies. In the bottom right corner of every post there are 3 buttons: (l-r) Quote, Multi-quote, and Quick Reply. If you want to reply to several folks at once, click the middle Multi-quote button in each of the target posts, then click the Post Reply button. Each message will be quoted for you in a new reply and then you can edit the quotes accordingly for brevity and compose your response.

Great looking mod! I'm a fan of contrast and I think this look was tailor-made for the white WK2.

These bezzels are the ones that are on the Summit Overland.

How hard was the install? Do they just push in and snap on or special instructions?

Looks great by the way. +1.

They are so easy to do, even I could do it without even getting on the ground. Time is about 30 seconds each. You can see instruction sheet on Just4jeeps.com. The only chrome bezel now is the new Summit style.
