That's my guess as well. That would seem to be a very limited market, especially since the OEM lights look better. (IMHO).

I cant tell if I like them or hate them. On the one hand, Its a new look and the DRL's look pretty good on. On the other hand, The figure 8 design doesnt really make sense.

Not sure why you would change out the OEM LED DRL for just a different design of the LED DRL

I could have sworn i saw an article online not too long ago about these using LED technology for the high beams only, but not the low beams.

I kind of like the style of the DRL valeo chose... its very different.

These may be for the export, which is like 50/50 halogen/bi-xenon depending on the country.

So maybe they are testing the waters on technology that may show up in the next generation.

Think about it LEDs are the new en vogue tech so sooner or later FCA will add it to their line up.
