Yea on ebay they showed different styles n I have a '14 but the screws suck. You will need to buy better screws to secure everything but that's a 2 dollar fix. I love the boards and no one near me in NYC has them that I've seen

Re: New molded running board

As a follow-up, I decided to buy the Mopar running boards, and they seem to integrate well with the rest of the GC. Here are a couple photos from various angles:

They seem to work well with the Black/silver theme of the GC. Your mileage may vary... Jeep's not too dirty, but it's winter, so there's always some salt on the roads, it's only clean until I drive it! Plus, my wife actually steps on the running board to get in! Who knew that was going to happen?

Cheers,
Ron

They look good! Wanna get them soon and Hope they are as sturdy as the tubular ones or rock rails..
Are they wide enough to actually use as a step and protect the door from stupid parking lot door dingers?

They are certainly wide enough to be a good step, my wife uses them to get in every time. Also, they are nice when you are washing/drying the top of the GC!

I like the way they are mounted, with a small reveal between the edge of the vehicle and the boards, maybe a quarter to half inch, except at the very front and back, which fits flush to the taper of the GC. This gap is good for drainage, so you don't accumulate moisture there. Many vehicles have them flush, and they are rust generators. In addition, these taper to a point slightly behind the front fender, so you can still use them with the Mopar splash guards.

For protecting from door dings, they may help, if the car next to you is lower. The outer edge of the running boards is probably an inch outside the widest dimension of the GC. Of course, if the car next to you is something like a GC, the door is going to be above the running boards.

They are available at several sites online. I bought a copy of an online price to my local dealer's parts department, and they gave me the same discounted price. I had them installed when I had the Jeep in for an oil change.

Thanks for the detailed reply
My dealer quoted approx. 900$ installed! That's the discounted price and it's a bit cheaper than the other dealer (only 2 dealers in my city).. No other choices for me coz shipping them from anywhere else will cost a lot

Re: New molded running board

I went with the Iconic CXV. Bought them on sale for around $320.00

Only for 2014. If you have 2011-2013 you are OK.

Re: New molded running board

Here are pictures of them installed on my GC.
FYI: I'm about to sell them - ping me when you're interested and can pick them up in SF Bar area. I could also install them.
