Haha no I know I was just kidding in all seriousness though it would absolutely be feasible in a regular Overland. Yeah it has slightly different shaped bezels, but that doesn't change anything. It's the same fog light used on the other models so the new LED one will work perfectly in that model as well.

I changed one out today (all i had time for) Anyway the Overland oem fog does have a 1.75" diameter fog lens. The SRT oem lens is 2" diameter...

Not sure if the HA or summit have a different housing, but all said and done, it does fit and the overland only loses 1/8" of the light all the way around witch is not a lot... end result? Still worth every penny!
Right now running 1 srt light, one phillips 6k H11 Philips X-treme Ultinon LED Bulb and there is a noticeable difference in lighting output as others have stated
wished I woulda knew of these sooner! I had one of the phillips bulbs die on me! I know many others have had no issue, just ticks me off I spent 170 that lasted me less than 2 month

How does color differ between the 2?

Also are you saying the SRT LED diameter is slightly bigger than the Overland opening?

I noticed that a bit on my summit when I was doing it, the open edge on the fog housing sits more on the glass of the LED fog light vs the halogen was on the metal. I never took time to measure it but what you are saying sounds correct. It sits so far out on the edge though I don't believe it really has much impact on it. I didn't see any light leaking on the inside at all.

The lens diameter between the two are identical. The lens opening itself is also at the exact same length out so the only difference whatsoever is the halogen projector has a rounded lens which gives it the illusion of maybe sticking out further. Remember, both of these lights had to be made to the same specs as they are used on the same vehicle that originally accepted the halogen version. For example the 2014 SRT uses the halogen fogs which are identical to what's in the rest of the Grand Cherokees (and several other chrysler products), for 2015 they then switched to the LED version but changed nothing else. The LED light will fit perfectly in a regular Overland you will have no issues.

I'll snap pictures in a bit. Yes in the overland the opening is 1.75 and oem lens is 1.75. The srt bulb is 2"
As mentioned 1/4" you only lose 1/8" because of the diameter

So they made the overland and the HA different just for around the fog light housing opening?

Humm interesting. I swear I measured mine and they were identical, but I can't imagine the Summit/HA and Overland having different fogs.

The color between the Phillips and the srt are pretty close. The difference is the light output as others had said is a lot better. You could almost use them as headlights.
The diameter thing is no big deal, I was just worried they might not fit. The housing and the clips line up perfectly.
Now I need to figure out if I want to keep the Phillips 5k hid or switch to the Sylvanias

Osram 5k. What I used. Love them

More white than my fogs. The fogs are a little blue. But my HIDs have little yellow if not zero. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1458508951.164201.jpg
