Cool. I liked this SEMA concept, too. The hooks would be cool in safety yellow or orange as well. It looks fantastic.

"Wrapping" with a matte vinyl is an option that I've seen used effectively. You could to the grill and roof in MB and paint the wheels.

I love the lack of chrome and flash, the matte black trim pieces. Since the concept vehicles all seem to be white or silver, I ran the model through photoshop to see what that dark grille would look like on my Dark Charcoal Laredo.

where can I buy that grille?
I would also like to know where I can get that grille! I am going for the same look. I was just going to 3m wrap the mirrors black and the door/window pieces as well then that grille would be the final touch. This would look super deadly on my dark charcoal, going to debadge it as well

I would also wrap the roof and spoiler like the concept. The hood is an interesting touch, too.

Re: "Offroad Edition" Concept // Dark Charcoal

I did a bit of Photoshop tonight.

1) two-tone engine hood.
2) body colour mirror
3) body colour grill
4) paint lower bright black to match lower portion of front bumper.

Re: "Offroad Edition" Concept // Dark Charcoal

I was at my dealers today and he said he has a black Overland order that he has to dechrome the whole car. I will try to get pictures once it is done. I think wrapping the car is the best bet as it can be removed if you do not like it.

Re: "Offroad Edition" Concept // Dark Charcoal

I loved the idea of the SEMA Offroad Grill - here are pics of mine - I removed the grill, and did 4 coats of Plastidip - a couple thousand miles, and it looks good as new.

I decided I really want something different than the black, so I ordered some factory matched paint in the Dark Charcoal, and will be repainting over the plastidip with the Charcoal. I then plan to dechrome the rest of the car - painting all chrome in the Charcoal (with a coat of clearcoat). I will post pics as I get more of it done.
