?? on wind deflectors

We have them on 4 Rangers & 1 Ram 2500 Cummins ... & love them. I particularly like being able to vent the interior when parked in the summer heat and/or rain.

We also have a new 2014 JGC Summit HEMI with folding mirrors. It looks to me like that area where the mirror(s) fold in be a little too crowded for deflectors.

Any advice or opinions?

Thanks

BH

Re: ?? on wind deflectors

Hmm. I just purchased a 2014 Overland. I also purchased the front and rear WeatherTech wind deflectors. BUT I haven't installed them yet, as I am planning to tint the windows first.

I'm hoping to get my ride tinted this week, so I'm posting in here to remind myself to let you know if i have any issues with the deflectors and folding mirrors (gonna be a serious issue, as I have to fold the mirrors to fit 2 SUVs in the garage). Would be nice to know if anyone else has insight so I can decide what to do prior to installing the deflectors.

Re: ?? on wind deflectors

Have the mopar ones I manually fold my mirrors and there's no issue at all. Don't know if that helps!!

Re: ?? on wind deflectors

Update: Just got my windows tinted today, 20% to match the factory rears. Installer said to wait 1 week before I put the window defectors on. So I'll report back in one week. Didn't want you to think I forgot about ya!

Re: ?? on wind deflectors

Update: Just installed the Weather Tech wind deflectors on my 2014 Overland. Zero issues regarding fit and the automatic folding mirrors. There is definitely enough space.

Will get some pics when i get a chance and post them in this thread.

For what it's worth,I think they look real slick. Almost look like they came with the car.

Re: ?? on wind deflectors

How about wind noise, both with the windows up AND with them cracked slightly?
