Panoramic roof sunshade bounce back

I am having an issue when closing the fabric sunshade on the panoramic sunroof when it gets to the closed position it bounces back to about 1/4 open.

The problem stared a while back after getting the Jeep back from the dealer as they were trying to fix some wind noise. I don't really have the time or inclination to bring it back just for this as it is a minor yet annoying occurrence.

It appears this may be a safety bounce back and it thinks something is in the way? If I toggle the close/ stop buttons as it inches closer to the full closed position I can get it to stay 100% closed.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am assuming it needs to be recalibrated?

I have seen the sunroof itself recalibration instructions on this forum but didn't think those would apply to the sunshade.
