No problem.. You know I don't trust the dealers so I had to check it myself, returning the wrong bulb later is not an option (shipping it back to US will cost at least 2X it's price)..
I'm still not sure if the CANbus/resistor is needed or not for any of the 3 bulb types but I'll make the order tomorrow morning anyway, worst case if we found out resistor is needed for any of them we can get it later separately..
I'll send you a PM now for more details on order process.

You got the dealer part 100% right! No one trust them here

Got your PM, thanks.

I've tried searching here on the forums but no reviews/opinions on them.. I'm looking for simple bulb replacement that gives more useful light output..
Appreciate any feedback.

Sherif, I changed out all 4 of my reverse lights with LED bulbs, awhile back. I used the 921-Philips X-treme Vision LED for the 2 inside bulbs /no canbus (part of the lift gate)
The other 2 outside bulbs I used the 7440 Putco Plasma LED Replacement Bulbs /no canbus. The 7440 Putco are definitely brighter, but are also $20 more. However, if you want it super bright, then I would go with all 4, using the 7440 Putco LED bulbs. If I had to do it again, I would go this route. I purchased mine from www.KBCarstuff.com and their prices were very good!

Re: Philips LED bulbs for brake and reverse lights

Question, what is the rear fog light? Is that something just on export models? Also, has anyone changed out the front fog lights? The HID headlights and halogen fog lights just don't go well together and takes away from the appearance at night. LED or HID fogs is the way to go.

Yes, we have rear fog lights on export models while US models have reflectors I think but there's a kit available to replace them (new housing, bulbs & wiring)..

For the front fog lights, I replaced mine with Osram Night Breaker halogen bulbs and satisfied with them as they provide more light output than the stock bulbs and they are a little whiter, not perfect white like LED bulbs..

IMHO:
- If you want bright white lights matching the headlights but without more output than stock, go with LED..
- If you want more output than stock and little whiter, go with good halogen bulbs like the Osram mentioned above..
- If you want best of both worlds, go with HID kits (they cost like 3x or 4x the 2 other options)..

Re: Philips LED bulbs for brake and reverse lights

Just got a pair of the brake light bulbs on amazon for $23 and hooked up some extra load resistors I had laying around in the garage. These are how the truck should have come from the factory!
