I will say this......one thing that came up a few times in the threads was you don't have to remove any plastic rivets or the side sill of the jeep to install the side steps. We took that advice and didn't remove....it is a little tight to work but it was very easy. I would imagine it would be more of a pain to take the side sill off then have to re-install it (seems like an extra uneccesary step)
Do you have a pic of what the bracket looks like mounted underneath? Haven't looked underneath yet and was curious how you went about with out removing rivets?

Looks great. I'm looking at the Stone White as well.

Did you get the front windows done at 35%?

I actually don't even know what the percentage is on the tint.....LOL!

I just told them to match the front windows to the stock tint that's on the rest of the Jeep

Re: Pics of installed side steps and tinted windows!

i bought the side steps on ebay.....they were about $494 including the shipping. Not bad i think....other sites have them for over $500 without the shipping

Re: Pics of installed side steps and tinted windows!

Your side steps look great. I was worried about the Mopar chrome plated aluminum side steps rusting up here in the North East(Boston area). I see you are in NY so you would face the same problems with salt on the roads during winter months. Anyone here had problems with rust. The aftermarket company's are saying their stainless steel products will last much longer, any truth to that? Trying to do my homework before I purchase anything. The Mopar steps look great but are expensive. I don't want buyers remorse for a few hundred dollars. These steps will be on the vehicle for as long as I own her. Just don't want to buy steps that will rust out in two to three years.

Re: Pics of installed side steps and tinted windows!

I have the same Jeep and I just put the side steps on yesterday. It was really easy to do, they make the Jeep now with self mounting holes already there. Mine all I had to do was take out the 6 rubber covers three per side and the steps mounted right up. Love the looks - great job.
And I even got the tint at 35 percent. It was looking at my jeep. I love your jeep keep up the good work.
