I have a black WK2 so I bought the glossifier to do my rims and front grille. Possibly rear valance too. I love the matte against the white tho.

Re: Plasitdip'd grill.

I like it a lot. Much better and cheaper than painting.

Did you scuff it with a brillo, sandpaper, or do any prep before applying the plastidip?

Re: Plasitdip'd grill.

i just did my brow and grille yesterday. It's kind of scary at first, because the first two coats really don't look good. All I did for prep was clean with Invisible Glass, then clean with the Predip spray, let it all dry, and start spraying.

A few suggestions:
1. Lay the first coat on thick. It should look wet, but not running.
2. Do it indoors, or away from a breeze! I kept having to remove grass and dirt from mine.
3. Shake the can vigorously and always spray like a piece of cardboard for a few seconds before spraying your part. This stuff dries fast and tends to clog the nozzle frequently.

Yes. It's so easy to remove you're better off taking it off.

Thanks, it looks good. I can't wait to do mine but my anniversary this weekend is delaying me. But i guess it could be something worse.

Re: Plasitdip'd grill.

Looks good. I like that you removed the front Jeep badge also. Why not the back badges? I'm plasti-dipping my side door moldings this weekend. Should tie it all together nicely.

Haven't had time yet to remove the rear badges. And I might want to dip those too. Mine is a 2012 so it is a pain to remove all the double sided tape and sun stains. For the front, I used goo gone, then buffed it.
