Plasti Dip Grill & Wheels

I have had my wheels "dipped" for 8 months or so and decided to do the grill upon discovery of the shell being able to pop off.

It took me about 2 hours tops to take the grill off and spray it and about 30 seconds to put it back on once dry.

BTW I broke a clip on the black plastic covering that you need to lift up to get to the grill shell clips. Anyone foresee this as a problem to worry about? It still sits snug and the hood closes on top of it so I don't see an issue nor do I know what purpose it serves. LOL

I am happy with the look and will be doing the rear brow , adding a sharkfin, and maybe some lamin on the tails.

Love the look. Think about taking the chrome side moulding off and ordering the grand Cherokee lettering. Easy to do and completes the look.
Do you mind sharing what you learned on how to remove the grill and have to avoid breaking any clips. I want to dip my grill but worried about breaking something. Appreciate the help.

There are some DIY topics about removing the grill you will see the 4 clips for the black plastic cover and once you can lift that you will see 8 clips for the shell they have to be pulled out while the part it clips into is spread open.

The only tricky part is there are 6 clips that face one way and 2 that face opposite way in terms of of they hook onto the fastener.
