Re: Plasti-Dip Journals

I've done my side mirrors, the trim on the front bottom, and some of the lettering.

Re: Plasti-Dip Journals

Plasti-dip on my wheels, grill, emblems and chrome accents. Took about 3 hours and 4 coats all the way around. The kits are available on dipyourcar.com. I used the glossifier on the wheels. Came out dope!!

How hard was it to do the mirrors? I am looking to do my chrome mirrors on my limited. Did you remove the covers or just spray them while they were on?

Any suggestions on how to do the mirrors and the front trim? How do people think it would look on a Max Steel color?

It's not difficult at all. You just tape it off. I've done the whole truck. Pick a nice day, not too cold, humid or breezy, tape it off and spray. I keep a fresh Clorox wipe by me to get overspray before it hardens and you have to scrape it off.

Re: Plasti-Dip Journals

I traded my JKU rubicon for a white WK2 two days ago. Already did the hatch chrome and front grill/emblem.
