$1300? Damn bro, $20 bucks and some time is all you need.

That's what I'm coming to realize! Think there's a way to do your headlamps the same? Might be a tight fit in there I'm thinking.

Just tape them and try. All else fails just peel the plasti-dip off. Can't hurt. Post pics if you do. I'll try and do my headlights tomorrow as well.

Still waiting on delivery so might have to wait until next weekend or the weekend after. Let me know how it goes!

Re: Plasti Dipped my 14 Overland

Looks fantastic.

I Plasti-Dipped my black 2014 and love the new look. After the weather started having an unstable pattern of showers and thunderstorms almost daily since Mid May, between the Jeep and other house projects, I abandoned the task. I have a few questions, as I want to finalize the project:

a) the grille - did you remove it?
b) the handles and the chrome plate at the rear gate - will the dip withstand the wear / rubbing against ?

Thanks.

No I did not remove the grille but I'm sure you can. And I'm not sure how it will hold up after time. But its cheap and can be done over again and again.

Any advice I can give is to take your time taping and cutting. I got lazy and in some places need to be re-done. All else fails, pull it all off and start over. Good luck bro.

How did you do the door handles - Did you have to take them off?

This is definitely a project for this weekend... can't wait!
