You don't mention which light set you are replacing - I'll assume the headlights...

In the case of replacing the fog lights with HIDs, there is enough juice in the stock wiring supply to power the lights without having to wire the relays to the battery. I wired my fog HIDs directly to the stock harness.

The HID bulbs draw less amperage than stock halogens, even (I think) during the initial surge.

Thanks - that's good to know. Aren't the headlights and fogs the same bulbs and wattage?
