I have these ready to install right now. How do I get the headlights out to get them under there? Help please!

your DRL are a separate bulb? the WK DRL are on the same circuit as the high beam bulb.

Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

Im with others here, we need pics of the lights on and off close up. Also, can you tell us what type/brand of LED strips you used, are they water proof or made to be water proof by you?

Alpena 77703 White 24" Max LED Strip:Amazon:Automotive

These are the exact ones I got but I got them from pepboys. They are really really bright and They are pretty tight which is why on mine I put them to the outside of the headlight instead of close to the grill. That way I don't have to disassemble anything. Still looks awesome I think

Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

I can't seem to tell but are those strips side view LEDs? I'm assuming so but want to be sure. Also, can you post as close up as possible of a single headlamp with the strips powered down? I'd like to see what it looks like when the strip isn't lit.

Thanks.
