Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

Great mod. Can you give us a step by step on the install? Did you just wire tap them directly into the DLR harness? What steps did you take to water proof?

Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

This is how mine look with them powered off. I put mine closer to the outside of the headlight instead of closer to the grill cause it was so much easier to run the wires without having to remove anything or loosen anything. It is really simple to do and trust me unless u know that they are there.... Nobody is gonna even notice them..

Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

I would really like to do this to my '14 limited but I don't have DRLs. Does anyone know if perhaps I can do some wiring and install a relay to make these come on when the car is on? I think this looks sick! Anyone else done this?

Sadly, on the '14s, the DRLs are shared with the low beams.

Re: Project "MAKO" w/LED DRL strips installed!!!

This custom mod by the original OP looks badass.

Wish I could get something similar for my '14.
