Damn, that's not bad at all! Thanks for sharing this, with a son on the way, I'll definitely get some.

Worth every penny.
No doubt the scuffs accumulated over the years look bad, but have you seen some older cars that have the carpeting along the bottom of the doors. Really looks faded and beat. No thanks. I'll keep the plastic.

I dunno, Bob... I've never had an issue with door carpeting fading on my previous GC's.

I can't stand all of the scuff marks that got put on my doors while it was in the dealer's showroom. I'd actually prefer faded carpeting to that.

That is why I got two sets, for $70 I can switch out if/when they fade or look beat up. My hubbie's 10+ year old pickup has carpeted lower panels and they look like the day it was new. I have seen faded ones in other cars/trucks like you describe and scuffs would look better than they do. But interchangable ones - no worries now about that.

Nice find, I might try to get some of these. I wonder if there's something similar for the hard plastic seat backs. My kids scuff them up a fair bit.

They make kickback mats or just kick mats.. at least I think that's what they are called. Just google search and you will see tons of them. They come in different sizes and options. They are not custom made for the Jeep but mine cover the back of my seats nicely.

I think a few months; I ordered in October and received late November.

It probably would be easy to get a trim shop to cut out pieces like that for the doors. I'm curious what one would charge for doing that.

I thought about that. But you would still have to make them out of something you could attatch to the doors AND you would be paying to get something custom. Not cheap to do that. Hubbie said the same thing. IMHO these are a good price for what you get and a simple fix.
