Question for this that have vinyl wrapped window trim

I've been planning to wrap my window trim. My question to those of you that have done it is how much vinyl did you order? How much did you actually need to do around the windows and the roof rails? I imagine due to the shape there is a lot of waste but I don't want to buy too much or too little. Any input is greatly appreciated

Re: Question for this that have vinyl wrapped window trim

I had mine done in a shop. $300 for the wrap and HID install - much easier than trying it myself.

Re: Question for this that have vinyl wrapped window trim

I'm about to do this and my vinyl will be here tomorrow. I'm doing the chrome window trim, the side black window (3) and chrome door panels, the roof rails, the rear liftgate panel, the front grill, the interior door handle trim, vents on dash, both circle gauges, center dash, door lid and center shifter panel.

I used a spread sheet in inches to make sure I didn't order too little, but enough if I made a mistake or seven. I ordered 5' x 5'.

Re: Question for this that have vinyl wrapped window trim

The vinyl I ordered was not a dark enough blue, so I did not do the exterior trim. I did however to the interior trim. After doing the interior, the exterior is going to be a lot easier now that I know what to do.
