Rear cargo mat recommendation

Hi all, I find my gear sliding around a lot and looking to get get a rubberizerubberized for the cargo area. Currently running weather techs up front so is that that a good option? Or does the husky or jeep one offer better protection and help with things sliding around?

Thanks

Re: Rear cargo mat recommendation

I have a weather tech in the back of my 15 and have no issues. IT is made of the same material as the floor mats, if that gives you an idea of how it may hold up. Had the mats in my '04 GC and they kept the carpets looking brand new. When I sold that car the buyer actually asked me if I had placed new carpet through out the car at some point.

I have the Jeep cargo mat in the back. It's rubber so there isn't much sliding of most items. I have some trouble with grocery bags tipping over mostly. I need some dividers or netting of some kind.

Re: Rear cargo mat recommendation

I have the WeatherTech all throughout and the rear cargo mat is great. The only thing I wish was that the mat didn't have a lip on the back of it. The lip is where the mat meets the back of the seats. However, when my seats are down and I load stuff in then items have to roll or slide over the lip of the mat. No big deal, but just an observation.

Don't you use the hooks on each side that are for hanging grocery bags?

Re: Rear cargo mat recommendation

I purchased the Jeep cargo mat late last year and I have no complaints, and it keeps stuff from sliding around. I loaded up several pieces of sod this morning for a yard project and the mat cleaned up well when I was finished. From the reviews on the garage a ton of folks like the weather tech mats, so it's whatever you prefer. Good luck.

Re: Rear cargo mat recommendation

We went with Husky Weatherbeaters for the passenger compartment and also the luggage area.

We have the Tan/Frost Interior and their Tan color matched extremely well. Fit is excellent.

We shopped around and ended up buying from Autoanything for a great price as they had a sale on .

Re: Rear cargo mat recommendation

I have the Weathertech for floor mats but went with the Jeep cargo mat. Very good at stopping things from sliding around and much beefier the the Weathertech.

That's exactly the thing that makes me looking elsewhere. I'm currently considering a Jeep branded mat that is flat as well as having cutouts for the rear seat supports.

Thanks so much for the replies! I agree the lip mentioned on the weathertech might lean me towards the Mopar option.
