I have a 2017 Trailhawk and realized that the rear doors are missing the ambient lighting treatment that appears on the front doors. This is the subtle blue lighting that appears behind the door handles and illuminates the map pockets. My parents have a 2014 Summit and the ambient lighting is in the rear as well as the front. Does anyone know if you can add this lighting to the rear and what it would entail? I want to keep it as OEM as possible.
Curious about this too! I have 16' 75th Anniversary. Only have the front illuminated. Definitely interested in adding the rear too. Hopefully the brightness can be adjusted as well.
Another curious new owner here. Has anyone figured this mystery out?
2019 Trailhawk with only front door ambient lighting. I know I’ve read someplace on here that some were able to have theirs reactivated at the dealer, but my back door handle pockets don’t seem to even have the ... ‘light slot?… that you find on the front door handle pockets.
My 2015 Summit has ambient blue lights in each of the four door handles as well as the lower map pockets. Two small rectangular white ambient lights under the dash to illuminate each footwell. Two of the same under each front seat to illuminate the rear footwells. ALL of these are so dim I didn't even know they were there! I would like to make them ALL brighter as well as changing the white ones to blue. If this is a simple bulb change, how do I access all of them?
Interesting. 2019 Trailhawk is also missing the rear rear white ambient lighting on the floorboard. Any 2018 owners out there who have it? I wonder if this is something that can be added back.
