Re: Rear Fogs Installed

Can you please provide a DIY? Do I have to remove the rear bumper to do this? I'll have all the parts tomorrow

Re: Rear Fogs Installed

There are some pretty detailed instructions available on taillight solutions. Bumper removal is not necessary at all.

For running lamp/parking lamp functionality on the rear fog lamps, you must connect the loose YELLOW wire to the WHITE wire on the two pin plug directly below the primary taillight plug...
I don't get this step? I don't have a yellow wire. Unless that's because we have orange from Jeep_Addicted?

If you got your harness from Jeep_addicted, you should have a loose wire there, with a connector on the end (color may be different than taillight solutions, I believe mine was orange as well). Connect that wire to the white wire with the T-taps he included.

Rear Fogs Installed

I picked up a set of rear fog housings on Ebay, a nice set of bulbs from Vleds, and a really nice harness from our very own Jeep_addicted. That brought the total down to under $225. I could have got it even lower with a set of bulbs off Ebay or Amazon, but decided to go with the known quality of Vleds bulbs. I'm very happy with the way everything came out. The harness from Jeep_addicted is incredible, very professional work. Thanks again for all or help! I have them set up as brake/turn signal only right now. Not sure if I will make them come on with the parking lights.

Interested in your smoked tails. Is that lamin-x? I've seen a few people actually profile there lenses by sandblasting, then having them painted and cleared. Yours look great!!!!! On second look are these just Altitude tails?

The tails are the same on all trim levels, the bezel is the only difference. Black on SRT8, gray on Altitude, chrome on all others.

My tails are covered in Lamin-X Gunsmoke tint. My bezels are wrapped in gloss black vinyl.
