Rear grill guard question

I've really been looking for a rear grill guard for my 2015 altitude and I've narrowed it down to 2 companies. Im trying to find one of these guards that won't interfere with the park sense sensors. I've seen these guards on other jeeps and it looks like they barely clear the sensors. My question is does anyone have one of these guards installed on their jeep that has the park sense system and does it interfere with it? I can always turn it off but i prefer not too. Thanks

Re: Rear grill guard question

ever mind i installed it anyways. It does interfere with the sensors but whatever i turned them off. I really like the look of it better than using stupid parking sensors. Thats why we have a backup camera

I had one on my previous GC- it's great- turn the parking sensors off- can still use hitch if you have one- would not stand up too much with a big impact but prevents bumper rash from city street parking. Bolts right up

yeah i like it. It's annoying though that everytime I go into reverse, the evic has to tell me the park sense system is off. I know it's off it doesn't have to tell me everytime. Whatever guess il get use to it

I like the blackout. I think the guard would look a lot better if you hacked off the bar portions extending outside of the vertical brackets. The curves make is look a little soft. You don't really need coverage in those areas anyway. I drafted up a quick image of what that might look like (left side only).

As you can see it leaves a little room and doesn't stick out much. I like it
