Rear hatch mis aligned!

So I've been dealing with this problem since I took delivery, well since I brought my car to take the chrome moldings off. My body shop guy said something about my rear hatch not being aligned properly. So of course I then was obsessed about it and I recently brought it to dealer today. They adjusted it but it just still wasn't the best and I am officially bringing it to my body shop for the job to be done right....anyone else had problems? And I did stumble on a post from some guy in Costa Rica or something but Idn this is frustrating and I didn't notice it till after I took delivery! Smh

Here are some pic of it before and its not much different know!

The right side is a lot closer than the left btw it's not letting me update more than one.

How big is the gap on each side when you measured it?

Re: Rear hatch mis aligned!

@andyh I was able to stick my link in on the right side and I was able to see more of the grey of the light on left side. They were able to adjust it but just not good enough for me so I said forget it ill just have my body shop look at it and fix it properly, all there shipment had same thing but I guess people can deal with it, I just don't get it how could you ask someone to pay good money and you can't line up body panels properly.

Re: Rear hatch mis aligned!

Mine is a little tight on the right side. Only by about 1/8" compared to the left so close enough for me. Your looks like it's about a 1/4" off or so.

Re: Rear hatch mis aligned!

That's before it's actually a little worst now that's why I'm just gonna have my body shop do it cause then ill know I will get it as close to perfect as possible.

Re: Rear hatch mis aligned!

I had the same problem, along with all the door alignment....

The dealers can never seem to get a perfect fix on this issue, ive had mine in 3 times!
